This medication is used to treat a variety of fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, and jock itch. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. Butenafine is an antifungal that works by preventing the growth of fungus.Do not use this medication for the treatment of fungal nail infections.How to use Butenafine TopUse this medication on the skin only. Clean and thoroughly dry the area to be treated. Apply a thin layer of the medication to and around the affected area and gently rub in, usually 1 to 2 times daily as directed on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If your doctor has prescribed this medication to you, then use as directed. Wash your hands after using unless the area to be treated includes the hands. Do not wrap, cover, or bandage the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.Do not apply the medication in the eyes, nose, or mouth, inside the vagina, or on the scalp. If you do get the medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water.The dosage and length of treatment depends on the type of infection being treated.Do not apply more often or use longer than directed. Stopping the medication too early may result in a return of the infection.Inform your doctor if your condition worsens or does not improve after the treatment period.What conditions does this medication treat?Butenafine Top is used to treat the following:Ringworm of Groin Area, Athlete's Foot, Ringworm of the Body, Fungal Infection of the Skin with Yellow Patches Famotidine is used to to treat ulcers (sores on the lining of the stomach or small intestine); gastroesophageal reflux disease [GERD, a condition in which backward flow of acid from the stomach causes heartburn and injury of the esophagus (tube that connects the mouth and stomach)]; and conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (tumors in the pancreas or small intestine that cause increased production of stomach acid). Over-the-counter famotidine is used to prevent and treat heartburn due to acid indigestion and sour stomach caused by eating or drinking certain foods or drinks. Famotidine is in a class of medications called H2 blockers. It works by decreasing the amount of acid made in the stomach.Prescription famotidine comes as a tablet and a suspension (liquid) to take by mouth. It is usually taken once daily at bedtime or two to four times a day. Over-the-counter famotidine comes as a tablet, a chewable tablet, and a capsule to take by mouth. It is usually taken once or twice a day. To prevent symptoms, it is taken 15 to 60 minutes before eating foods or drinking drinks that may cause heartburn. Follow the directions on your prescription or the package label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take famotidine exactly as directed. Midazolam (Hypnovel), a medicine used to induce sleep before operations. Cyclosporin (Neoral, Sandimmun), a medicine used to prevent organ transplant rejection or to treat certain problems with the immune system. Cisapride (Prepulsid), a medicine used to treat gastrointestinal problems. Pimozide (Orap), an antipsychotic medicine. These medicines may be affected by Roxithromycin-RL, or may affect how well it works. You may need to use different amounts of your medicine, or you may need to take different medicines. Your doctor will advise you.HOW TO TAKE ROXITHROMYCIN- The recommended dosage for adults is 300mg per day. You may take this according to one of the following dosage regimens: one 300mg tablet once a dayor one 150mg tablet twice a day or two 150 mg tablets once a day The dosage of Roxithromycin for children depends on their weight. The recommended dose for children weighing 40 kg and more is 150mg twice a day. Roxithromycin should not be used for children less than 40 kg in weight.However, your doctor might advice you to take a different dose depending on your condition and your reaction to the medicine. No dose adjustment is required for the use in elderly. Roxithromycin is usually taken for 5 to 10 days for treating infections. Your doctormay want you to take Roxithromycin for a longer period. Ask your doctor for adviceif you are not sure how long you should be taking it. Continue to take Roxithromycin until the pack is finished or your doctor tells you to stop. Roxithromycin should be taken on an empty stomach to work best. The delayed-release tablet is usually taken three times a day, and the controlled-release capsule is usually taken four times a day. The suppository is usually used one to three times a day, and the enema is usually used once a day at bedtime. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take or use mesalamine exactly as directed. Do not take or use more or less of it or take or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor.Swallow the tablets whole; do not split, chew, or crush them. Be careful not to break the protective coating on the tablets.If you are unable to swallow the capsules, you may mix the contents of the capsules with water. Open a capsule and sprinkle all of the beads it contains in a small glass of water. Stir the beads into the water and drink the mixture right away. Do not store mixtures of beads and water for later use.The enema and suppositories are for rectal use only.You should begin to feel better during the first few days or weeks of your treatment with mesalamine. Continue to take or use mesalamine until you finish your prescription, even if you feel better at the beginning of your treatment. Do not stop taking or using mesalamine without talking to your doctor.Mesalamine suppositories and enemas may stain clothing, flooring, fabric and other surfaces. Take precautions to prevent staining when you use these medications.

Indications Aqwet can be used for dryness of the mouth or throat regardless of whether the condition is temporary or permanent. It is also used for intensive hygiene of the oral cavity and to help relieve bad taste. Dosage And Administration The can should always be held upright with the valve opening directed towards the mouth or throat. The nozzle should be pushed down for 1 to 2 seconds. Aqwet can be used as often as needed to maintain moistness. The valve opening should be cleaned if it becomes blocked. |
